Cloud Working Cocker Spaniels

Behind the Dogs.

Cloud Working Cocker Spaniels was built around a love for capable dogs: dogs that enjoy working, learning, exploring, and living alongside their people.

Small Program by Design

Our approach

A Small Program With a Clear Standard.

Our goal is not to produce the most puppies. The program is intentionally small so each dog, each pairing, and each puppy can receive thoughtful attention.

We care about the complete dog: working ability, temperament, health, trainability, functional structure, and the ability to transition between demanding work and everyday life.

Why working cockers

Compact Dogs. Serious Capability.

Working English Cockers can bring together athleticism, scenting ability, trainability, personality, and versatility in a compact package. Individual dogs and bloodlines vary, which is why thoughtful selection matters.

01

Athleticism

Dogs capable of moving, working, and participating in active sport and outdoor lifestyles.

02

Scenting Ability

Natural enthusiasm for using the nose, with potential for detection, tracking, and other scent-based work.

03

Trainability

A desire to engage, learn, solve problems, and build a working relationship with the handler.

04

Versatility

The ability to move between sport, scent work, therapy work, outdoor life, and the home when temperament is appropriate.

Our philosophy

Thoughtful Dogs Start With Thoughtful Decisions.

Selective breeding

Pairings should be made for a reason, with clear goals rather than simply producing a litter.

Health transparency

Health testing and pedigree information should be available for prospective homes to review.

Working ability and temperament

Drive matters, but so does stability. We value dogs capable of working while functioning appropriately in real life.

Thoughtful placement

Puppies should be matched with homes based on individual temperament, goals, and lifestyle rather than appearance alone.

Early development

Raised With Intention.

Early experiences can help puppies build confidence and adaptability, while recognizing that no puppy-raising program can guarantee future temperament.
